ABSTRACT
This book is based on the background of economic and social transformation and the accelerating urbanization process,on the basis of sampling survey data in Shenzhen on December 2013 about migrant children,and pays attention to the survival and development of migrant workers’ children(namely rural migrant children)from the perspective of gender,flows,school nature,and school types etc. Under the guidance of ecological system theory,this book analyses migrant children’s family education and parenthood,school education and campus life,mental health and the values,social integration and so on from the systems of family,school and society. In order to reveal the migrant children’s characteristics of the survival and development in the city from an all-around point of view,and to put forward suggestions to promote the rural migrant children’s health,driving education fairness,achieving social sustainable development in our country.
