3.3 Materials Inspection
3.3.1 The specifications,types and quantity of materials shall meet the requirements of the procurement contract and design document.
3.3.2 Land cables,ODF and land cable joints shall be inspected in accordance with the current professional standard of Code for the Acceptance of Communications Line Engineering YD 5121.
3.3.3 Cable terminating boxes,land cable joints and beach joints shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 All functional modules should be complete and the cabinets shall be intact;
2 Plastic parts shall be free of glitches,air bubbles,cracks,voids,warping,impurities or other defects;
3 Metal structural members shall be smooth in surface and uniform in color;
4 Coating adhesion shall be firm,without peeling,paint chips or other defects;
5 All fasteners shall be in solid and reliable connection,cabinet sealing strips shall be smoothly and firmly stuck to the cabinet,and accessories shall be complete;
6 Doors of cable terminating boxes shall be able to open and close freely and reliably,and have high-voltage warning signs.
3.3.4 Before loading,submarine cables shall be visually inspected;their optical and electrical parameters shall be tested and meet the requirements of the procurement contract and design document.
