4.7 Air Heater

4.7.1 The erection of the tubular air heater shall meet the following requirements:

1 Before the erection of the tubular air heater,the boundary dimensions of tube-chamber shall be inspected.The allowable deviation of boundary dimensions shall meet the requirements of Appendix H.The dust,rust and other sundries inside and outside of the pipes shall be cleaned.The welding quality of the tubes and tube sheets shall be inspected.The oil penetration test shall be carried out.

2 The tightness inspection shall be carried out for the welds in the bypass channels of the tubular air heater.The concealed positions shall be checked together with the related majors before covered up,and the certification for concealing shall be handled.

3 The allowable deviation for the erection of tubular air heaters shall meet the requirements of Table 4.7.1.

4 For the erection of the tubular air heater,the vertical direction of the tube-chamber shall be noticed so that the upper surface and the lower surface shall not be mixed up.

5 The coordination between the insertion abrasion resistant sleeve and the tube hole shall be proper and the exposure height shall meet the design requirements.On the other hand,the butt joint abrasion resistant sleeve and tube sheet plane shall be vertical.The welding shall be firm,and the spot welding shall be carried out in two locations at least.

6 After the erection of tubular air heaters,the pressure decay test shall be carried out simultaneously to the cold and hot air ducts simultaneously.The comprehensive inspection shall be carried out before the start-up so that there shall be no sundry in the tubes.

4.7.2 The erection of rotary air heaters shall meet the following requirements:

1 The equipment inspection and maintenance shall meet the related provisions in Articles 4.1,10.1 and 10.2 in this Part.

2 After the assembly of the sectionalized stator or rotor,the firm connection shall be carried out,and the edges shall be polished smoothly,according to the requirements of equipment technical documents.

3 The erection of the heat transfer components shall meet the following requirements:

1)There shall be no loosening phenomenon for installing the heat transfer components in the sector cabinet.Otherwise,the corrugated plates or locating boards shall be inserted.

2)The erection of the heat transfer components of the rotor shall be carried out after the rotor barring has been qualified.Moreover,the overall balance shall be maintained.

3)There shall be no any plugging sundry among the heat transfer components of the rotor.

4 The adjustment bolts of the sealing device shall be flexible and there shall be enough adjustment margin.

5 In the soot blowing and flushing devices,the minimum distance between the nozzles and the stator or rotor end shall meet the requirements of equipment technical documents.

6 Before the erection of the decelerating mechanism,the idling operation shall be carried out for two hours.The barring device shall be automatically separated before the official start-up of the actuator.

7 The installation clearance of the pin shaft and the transmission gear in the transmission surrounding strap mode shall meet the requirements of equipment technical documents.

8 The roundness of the rotor or the stator shall meet the following requirements:

1)Rotor:the roundness of the rotor circumference sealing surface shall be measured and the allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of Table 4.7.2-1.

2)Stator:the roundness of the shell outer diameter shall be measured.The allowable deviation shall meet the requirements of equipment technical documents.If the manufacturer has no specific provision,the allowable deviation shall comply with Table 4.7.2-2.

9 After the erection of the fixing and locking components regulated in equipment technical documents,the inspection shall be carried out so as to lock these components firmly.

10 The allowable deviations of assembly flatness for the upper and lower end-plates are:

when Diameter≤6.5m≤2mm

when 10m≥Diameter>6.5m≤3mm

when 18m≥Diameter>10m≤4mm

11 The levelness allowable deviation for the upper or lower beams is 2mm.

12 The erection of the rotor in the central driving mode shall be in the vertical direction.The upper end of the main-shaft shall be measured.The levelness allowable deviation shall be within 0.05mm.The rotor and the shell shall be concentric.The concentricity allowable deviation shall be within 3mm and the circumference clearance shall be uniform.

13 The assembly of the main-shaft and the rotor shall be concentric.The verticality allowable deviations for the main-shaft and the rotor are:

when Diameter≤6.5m≤1mm

when Diameter>6.5m,≤2mm

14 The cold state sealing clearance of the axial,radial and circumferential seals shall be adjusted according to the values regulated in equipment technical documents.The erection direction of the angle plate must meet the rotor turning direction.

15 The lubricating oil system shall comply with the related provisions for the auxiliary machinery oil system in Article 10.3 in this Part.

16 The insulation layer of the central cylinder shall meet the requirements of equipment technical documents.

17 The erection of the seal clearance tracking device shall meet the drawing requirements.

4.7.3 The trial operation of the rotary air heater shall meet the following requirements:

1 The trial operation shall meet the related provisions in Article 10.2.12.

2 The rotation direction of the air heater shall be consistent with that in the design.

3 The sealing clearance shall meet the requirements of equipment technical documents.

4 The axial and radial runouts of the rotor shall meet the requirements of Table 4.7.3.
