4.6 Combustion Equipment

4.6.1 The combustion equipment erection shall meet the following requirements:

1 The welds and joining surface of air register shall be leakfree,and inspection thereof shall be carried out with oil penetration or the whole leak test.

2 The dampers and the shaft shall be fixed firmly.The shaft seal shall be tight.The opening and closing shall be flexible,and the actual position of the damper shall be marked permanently at the shaft end.

3 The operation device shall be flexible and reliable,and the indication scale shall match the actual position of the damper.

4 For the erection of each combustion equipment,the relative positions with reference to waterwalls shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements,and enough expansion clearance shall be ensured.The pulverized coal sprayed out of burners shall not scour the surrounding tubes,and the allowable deviation of installation positions are listed as follows:

1)Elevation deviation of burner nozzle:±5mm.

2)Distance deviation between two burners:±5mm.

5 Any pipe connected with the burners shall not constrain the thermal expansion and normal displacement of the burners,and the joints shall be tight.The weight and the axial thrust of connecting pipes shall not be exerted on the burners.

4.6.2 The erection of the swirl burner shall meet the following requirements:

1 The proper expansion clearance shall be reserved between the secondary air damper and the shell.

2 The allowable deviation for the concentricity of the primary and secondary air passages is listed as follows:

1)Without adjustment device:≤5mm.

2)With adjustment device:≤3mm.

3 The bolting connection of the primary and secondary air passages shall be tight.

4 The operating devices including the adjustment device shall be flexible and reliable.

4.6.3 The erection of the straight flow combustion equipment shall meet the following requirements:

1 The clearance between the nozzle and the primary air duct shall be 5mm-8mm.

2 The clearance between the nozzle and the secondary air duct ribbed plate shall be 10mm-15mm.

3 The allowable deviation for the levelness of secondary and tertiary air ports(when designed to be horizontal)shall not exceed 2mm.

4 The upward/downward tilting angles shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements,and the indication scale shall be accurate.

4.6.4 For swirl burners in the opposed combustion arrangement,the following provisions shall apply.

1 Perior to the erection of the burner,the equipment within the burner zone,such as waterwalls,buckstays and wind box trusses and so on,shall be installed or fixed temporarily.

2 The elevation deviation of burner nozzles shall not exceed±5mm.

3 The distance deviation of burner nozzles shall not exceed 5mm.

4 The deviation of the depth for the burner inserted into the furnace shall not exceed 5mm.

5 The concentricity deviation for the primary and secondary air passages of the burner shall not exceed 3mm.

6 For the erection of supports and hangers,the load shall be reasonably and evenly distributed so as to not constraint the expansion of waterwalls.

7 The inserted position of the oil lance,high-energy ignitor or plasma ignitor shall meet the design requirements.

4.6.5 For the straight flow burner in the tangential combustion,the following provisions shall apply:

1 The comprehensive inspection shall be carried out before the erection of the burners.All rotating components in the nozzles,the inner and outer tilting mechanisms,the damper dampers shall be rotated flexibly and there shall be no jam fault.

2 After the waterwalls have been adjusted entirely,the burner assembly may be aligned and welded with the corner tube panel of the waterwalls.The elevation of the corresponding nozzles for burners shall be consistent,and the elevation deviation shall be between±5mm.

3 After the erection of the burners,comprehensive inspection shall be carried out with respect to the levelness of each nozzle.When the dial pointer of the tilting mechanism is at zero position,all nozzles shall be at the horizontal position with the horizontal angle tolerance 0.5°.

4 The angle allowable deviation from the nozzle to the imaginary circle shall not exceed 0.5°.

4.6.6 The erection of ignition equipment(including the tiny-oil ignition equipment and plasma ignition equipment)shall meet the following requirements:

1 The installation size of ignition equipment and the coordination size of burner components shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements.

2 The ignition equipment shall be installed after the erection of burners with the correct elevation and the cutting angle.

3 The external pipes for the oil ignition equipment shall be connected with the metal hoses,whose allowance shall meet their own motion and the boiler expansion requirements.

4 All pipes and oil ignitors shall be inspected to confirm no leakage after their internal installation.

5 The erection of the torch oil lance shall also meet the following requirements:

1)The oil lance shall be flat,and the internal space shall be smooth.The oil lance expansion actuator shall be operated flexibly and there shall be no jam fault.For the construction of the oil lance and the torch oil lance,the extension length and angle shall strictly accord with the manufacturer's drawing requirements.

2)The internal joining surface in the shall be sealed well so that there shall be no any internal leakage.

3)The oil lance metal hose shall pass hydrostatic test under 1.25times the work pressure.The bending radius of the metal hose shall be more than 10times of its outer diameter.The minimum distance from the joint to the bending location shall be more than 6times of its outer diameter.Metalic flexible tube shall not twist when oil lance operates.

6 The erection of the plasma ignition equipment shall also meet the following requirements:

1)The sealing ring shall be paid attention to protect from water leakage and damage during installing the cathode head.

2)The sealing surface between the ignitor and the burner shall be tight without leakage.

3)The ignitor shall be moved forward or backward flexibly without jam fault.

4.6.7 The installation of the coal slime lance shall meet the following requirements:

1 The spray section of the lance tip shall be cleaned before the erection of the coal slime lance,and the assembly shall be carried out according to the manufacturer's drawing requirements.

2 The joining surface between the coal slime lance and the sealing box shall be welded firmly and tightly.

3 The size for the coal slime lance being inserted into the furnace shall meet the drawing requirements.The boiler expansion shall not be influenced after the erection of the coal slime lance.

4.6.8 The erection of the ignition and combustion equipment in the circulating fluidized bed boiler shall meet the following requirements:

1 The positions of the prepared holes,the installation position and angle of the abrasion resistant sleeve and the sizes of the internal wear resistance material of the abrasion resistant sleeve for the erection of the burners shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements.

2 The installation position,direction and counterweight of the flap valve shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements.

3 The contacting locations between the coal drop device and the wall shall be sealed tightly with the flexible refractory material.

4 The air volume control device shall be in the flexible and reliable operation mode and there shall be no jam fault.

5 The refractory material inside the torch oil lance cavity under the bed shall be in good condition.

6 The positions of the prepared holes and the erection angle of the oil lance for the erection of the torch oil lance under the bed shall meet the manufacturer's drawing requirements.
