Foreword

According to the requirements of Document GNKJ〔2011〕No.48 issued by the National Energy Administration of the People s Republic of China,"Notice on Releasing the Development and Revision Plan of Nuclear Power Standards",the development panel revised Technical Code for Design Load of Main Building in Fossilfired Power Plant DL/T 5095-2007.During the revision,the panel had summed up the practical experience in the design of main buildings in fossil-fired power plant and the conventional island of nuclear power plant in China,collected comments extensively,and made reference to the current national standards,

Unified Standard for Reliability Design of Building Structures GB 50068 and Load Code for the Design of Building Structures GB 50009 and industry standards like Technical Code for the Design of Civil Structure of Fossil-fired Power Plant DL 5022.

This code comprises 8 chapters and 4 appendices,including General Provisions,Terms,Basic Requirements,Load of Equipment(Piping),Live Loads on Roof and Floor(ground),Crane Load,Wind Load,Snow Load,etc.

This code includes the following significant changes with respect to DL/T 5095-2007:

1.Add live loads on ground,floors and roofs of main building of 1000MW units in fossil-fired power plant;

2.Add live loads on ground,floors and roofs and shape factor of wind loads on main building in conventional island of nuclear power plant;

3.Add provisions for calculation of tornado load;

4.Add provisions for calculation of postulated rupture loads on high energy piping system;

5.Add provisions for calculation of double-layer crane load;

6.Add Appendix B.

This code replaces Technical Code for Design Load of Main Building in Fossil-fired Power Plant DL/T 5095-2007 from the implementation date.

This code is administered by the National Energy Administration of the People s Republic of China.It was proposed by the Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute and daily managed by the Power Grid Design Standardization Technical Committee of the energy industry.Southwest Electric Power Design Institute of China Power Engineering Consulting Group Corporation is responsible for the explanation of specific technical contents herein.Any comments and suggestions raised during the implementation of this code are to be referred to the Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute at Ande Road 65,Xicheng District,Beijing,P.R.China,100120.
