Supportive

Supportive PMOs are there to offer guidance and help to project managers and project teams. Even though they are considered similar to a functional department but designed for projects, their main goal is to help streamline project work by providing templates, support, and some standardized processes. I like to think of supportive PMOs as guidance counselors in a high school—there to help you decide your next steps.
