5.4　Design Performance Indicators of Units

5.4.1　The heat rate of turbines used for calculating the design standard coal consumption rate of the unit should be taken as the value guaranteed by the supplier in turbine supply contract.

5.4.2　The boiler efficiency used for calculating the design standard coal consumption rate of the unit should be taken as the efficiency guaranteed by the supplier in boiler supply contract.

5.4.3　The pipe efficiency used for calculating design standard coal consumption rate of the unit should be taken as 99%.

5.4.4　The design gross standard coal consumption rate and design net standard coal consumption rate shall be calculated as per Appendix A.

5.4.5　The design auxiliary power rate under unit performance evaluation operating conditions may be calculated according to the relevant provisions in the current industrial code,DL/T 5153 Technical Rule for Designing Auxiliary Power System of Fossil-fueled Power Plants.The load of main high-voltage motors may be calculated using shaft power method,where the shaft power of motors shall correspond to the performance evaluation conditions.The other loads may be calculated using reduction factor method.
