3　Material Test

3.1　General Requirements

3.1.1　When testing optical（electrical）cables and materials，the representatives of owner or supervisor shall be present together with constructor's representative.

3.1.2　Gauge，specification，model and quantity of optical（electrical）cables and other materials shall comply with the design requirements.Optical（electrical）cables and silicon-core pipes shall be packaged with all necessary factory documentation（the product quality conformity certificate and product test records provided by the manufacturer），and so are other cable line equipment and materials.Any equipment ormaterial not meeting design requirements or without quality conformity certificate shall not be used.

3.1.3　Visual inspection shall be performed to optical（electrical）cables，equipment and materials，the package shall be intact，and its outside shall be labeled withgauge，specification，model and quantity.

3.1.4　Packaging and outer sheath of cables shall be intact，and the optical（electrical）cable ends and silicon-core pipe ends shall besealedperfectly.

3.1.5　At the open-case examination to theoptical（electrical）cables，actual A and B ends of cables shall be checked and then the correct and striking marks shall be made on cable drum.

3.1.6　Examination Records of optical（electrical）cables and other materials shall be well kept after examination.
