1　Generals

1.0.1　This code is made with a view to implementing the national development polices of the iron and steel industry and standardizing the design of cold rolling strip plant and eventually for the purpose of realizing advancednss，practicality，cost effectiveness and rationality thereof and ensuring its conformity with the requirements on energy conservation，environmental protection，safety and fire fighting.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the design of new construction，extension and renovation of cold rolling strip plant and independent workshop，but not to the design of cold rolled electric steel plant or cold rolled stainless steel plant.

1.0.3　In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code，those stipulated in the relevant current standards of the nation shall be complied with.
