5.3　Industrial Yard for Ore Dressing

5.3.1　The ore dressing plant shall make the most of the natural landform and arrange itself from top to bottom along the mountain slope，taking into account the transporation condition of raw ore and dressed ore as well as the ore dressing process flow.

5.3.2　The arrangement of coarse crushing shop shall meet the following requirements:

1　It shall harmonize with the raw ore transportation system.

2　The field necessary for accommodating such facilities as transportation lines shall be available at ore receiving tank and ore unloading platform inside the coarse crushing shop.

3　Slope of the terrain where the coarse crushing shop is located should be 30%-50%.

5.3.3　Main building for ore dressing shall be arranged in the area with open space and large foundation bearing capacity.Slope of the terrain of this area shall agree with the ore dressing process flow.

Inspection bay side of the main building shall be connected to the roads of the plant area，and shall be provided with the necessary storage space.

5.3.4　Main building and gas generation station of the roasting-magnetic separating plant shall be arranged at windward side of the plant area in terms of the wind direction of least frequency in normal year.

5.3.5　Arrangement of the refused ore facilities such as thickener tank and sand pump station should meet the following requirements:

1　They should be arranged in a centralized way，close to but lower than the main building.

2　Efforts shall be made to allow gravity flow of the ore slurry，keeping the pipeline straight and short.

3　Slope of the terrain where the thickener tank is located should not be larger than 2%-10%.

5.3.6　Arrangement of the dressed ore silo shall facilitate the connection of dressed ore transportation line.When the ore dressing plant and the sintering（or pelletizing）plant are arranged in combination，the dressed ore silo shall be located close to the blending room of the sintering（pelletizing）plant.

5.3.7　Laboratories，offices and inspection facilities of the ore dressing plant shall be located at leeward side of the crushing and screening shop，roaster and boiler houses which generate much fume and dust in terms of the wind direction of least frequency in normal year.Vibration prevention requirement of the laboratories shall be in accordance with those specified in Article 5.1.11 herein.
