Campus Life
When I tried to adapt to the current new reality, I also had to adapt to this home. Five years ago, I lived in the school dormitory. There was only one room in my dormitory, which is used to sleep, study and receive guests. At the corner of the corridor, there was a small kitchen, next to the bedroom is the bathroom.

My neighbor was a classmate from Bangladesh. The bedroom was not small, but without much furniture. I decorated my dormitory room into a museum. The walls are full of pictures. Everyone who visited me could spend a good time there, admiring the walls, browsing photos and posters. These photos and stories are actually an expression of my identity and beliefs.

In the university dormitories, students are from different countries and of different nationalities. I like to learn about the cultures of other countries, and I also try to spread awareness of the problems we face and our ideas among them. My focus is on the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Palestinian Refugees. This issue is suppressed by the message of Jewish colonialism and is still trying in despair to awaken the justice and conscience of the world. Therefore, most of the photos and stories are related to this issue: Not only the photo of the Palestinian fighter Leila Khaled wearing a Palestinian headscarf, but also the calendar released by the Lebanese Communist Party in 2015. I have kept this calendar ever since I first came to China. There is a picture of the martyrs of the Lebanese Communist Party on the calendar. They were brutally buried in a mass grave during the battle with the Zionists in 2004. The remains were found and retrieved after the war.
On the other side, a clothesline-like linen cloth hung on the wall overlooking the garden downstairs, with reports and pictures pasted on it,including a famous Palestinian painting. This painting depicts a portrait of Gassan Kanafani, a fighter of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Next to it is a child holding a banner of victory, with the words“We will defeat death under our feet, and then walk barefoot into the sun”.
These stories are the basic topics that I have long discussed with my classmates all over the world. Many people come to me to help them complete their homework related to mathematics and statistics. Since economics students usually don't like these subjects, they have to turn to me for help. Modern economy relies heavily on the relationship between data analysis and economic variables. This is my field of expertise because I have a background in mathematics and statistics.
