Uproot the lust for fame within and dispose of influences without.
EngIish TransIation
If a person has not yet uprooted the lust for fame from within,he will remain frail in the long run even though he himself claims to despise riches and rank and be willing to live a scanty life.
If a person cannot stem the torrent of the harmful influences from without, his benefaction will consequently become an uncalled-for trick even though he has done a lot to benefit both the world and the generations of all coming ages.
