第50章 君子无祸 勿罪冥冥

An accomplished man should do no evil on the sly if he wants to distance calamities.

肝受病，则目不能视；肾受病，则耳不能听。病受于人所不见，必发于人所共见。故君子欲无得罪于昭昭[1]，必先无得罪于冥冥[2]。

肝脏有病则眼睛的视力就会下降，肾脏有病则耳朵的听力就会衰退。发生在人所不见的地方的毛病，最终都会暴露在有目共睹的地方。由此我们认识到：作为一个堂堂正正的君子，要想在公众面前表现得清白坦荡，他必须首先在私底下不做任何有失体面的事情。
