II. People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges in Multiple Fields

People-to-people connections or shared feelings of the people are the social foundation for the Initiative. China has been proactive in carrying forward the Silk Road spirit of friendly cooperation and cooperating with countries and regions along the Belt and Road in a wide range of fields, including culture, education, tourism, health, medical care, science, technology, youth development, party and government exchanges, and people-to-people cooperation. These efforts have laid a solid foundation of public opinion in favor of the Initiative.
