Configuring service endpoints for Azure VNet

In Chapter 1, Azure Virtual Networks 101, you were able to enable service endpoints for the virtual network while creating it, as shown in the following screenshot:

You can perform the following steps to configure it for the virtual network that was created in the previous chapter:

  1. Navigate to the virtual network that was created in the previous chapter.
  2. Scroll down and click on Service endpoints (Preview), as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. To add a service endpoint, click on Add, and a new blade will pop up, as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. Click on the Service dropdown to select the service you want to create a service endpoint for, as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. Once the service is selected, you need to specify the subnets where you want to apply the service endpoint, as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. Once you are done, click on Add, and it will be added within a short time:

  1. To add a service endpoint for Azure SQL, you have to go through the same steps mentioned previously.
