Monitoring vSAN
Understanding all vSAN concepts is out of the scope of this book and the exam, where you just need to know some basics aspects.
You can monitor a vSAN with the vSphere Client in the Monitor tab as it has several menus for the capacity, disks usage, and the health of the storage.
Also, a powerful CLI called Ruby vSphere Console ( RVC) is available that can help both in monitoring and troubleshooting tasks. For more information, see https://blogs.vmware.com/kb/2016/10/tips-tricks-ruby-vsphere-console-rvc-managing-virtual-san-environment.html.
