Changing the author of the post

This is a very basic, yet useful, feature in WordPress. Every post and page in WordPress has an author, which is quite obvious in itself. However, if you want, you can change the assigned author of any given entry. In order to do it, look at the Document tab of the settings sidebar, and locate the Author label. There's a drop-down menu next to it that lists every user account on your site. Just select a new author, and click on the main Update button to save the changes:

Note: If you only have one user on your site, then the box won't even be visible.
