Experimental features

Experimental features are pieces of functionality that Microsoft is trialing on the PowerApps community. You can use features that are considered experimental; however, they should be used with caution. Effectively, you are using beta versions of the functionality, which means that the controls may break when new code is deployed to PowerApps or the actual functionality may change. There is also the possibility that Microsoft removes the functionality completely, which will mean that your app will no longer function as you initially intended.

While these components shouldn't be used for your production apps, I return to this area quite often as it's good to see what may be coming to PowerApps in the near future, as that may also shape how you design your apps in the present.
