1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is formulated with a view to ensure the quality of the electrical installation engineering about grounding device，facilitate the improvement of engineering construction technology and ensure the safety of grounding device equipment.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the construction and acceptance of electric equipment for grounding device in installation engineering.

1.0.3　Installation of grounding device shall be performed by the construction corporation according to the approved design requirements.The installation of the grounding device shall be supervised by client and supervisor.

1.0.4　Equipment used in grounding device construction shall meet current national standard and should have certificates.

1.0.5　Safety technical measures in construction shall meet requirements in this code and the relevant safety standard.

1.0.6　Installation of grounding device shall be coordinated with the construction of civil work.The concealed part must be finished with the intermediate inspection and acceptance record together with the associated departments before covering.

1.0.7　Connection of various grounding devices and main grounding grid must be reliable.Welding quality of grounding device shall meet stipulations in Clause 3.4.2 of this code.Grounding and resistance shall conform to design requirements.The connection between expanded grounding grid and the original grounding grid shall be multi-point connection.

1.0.8　The acceptance testing of grounding device shall be carried out immediately after civil work.For grounding device in the area with high soil resistivity，the measures shall be taken according to the design requirements if the ground resistance fails to meet requirements.It should only be operated after the acceptance.

1.0.9　Construction and acceptance of grounding device shall meet requirements in current national code and specification besides the requirements in this code.
