5 Design of Silo Internals Structure
5.0.1 Distributed multi-injection nozzles on the cone of silo should be adopted for purging system of silo.
5.0.2 When there are electrostatic shielding separator plates or inner-drum compartment structure inside the silo,the number of intakes shall ensure that each compartment has purging gas introduction.
5.0.3 The location of purging gas intakes shall be designed to ensure uniform distribution of purging gas,and shall reduce the amount of material below the intakes.
5.0.4 Internals and inner supports of silos should be made of structural parts without sharp corners such as round steel or tubular steel and their ends shall be ground.
5.0.5 Inner wall of silo surface shall be smooth.
5.0.6 Metal components of purging gas intakes extended into the silo should be of folded plate or affixedto-wall structure,and the radial dimension extended into the silo should not be more than 100mm,and shall be free of sharp corners.When a radial dimension larger than 100 mm may not be avoided,the component surface shall be treated with anti-static measures.
5.0.7 Downward part of fixed support for blending piping or tube shall be free of sharp corners and protruding electrode shape.
5.0.8 The welded structure between metal fixing support and bundle and silo shell shall be securely attached and reliable.
5.0.9 The connection of bundle blending tube shall have sufficient mechanical strength.
5.0.10 Silo inlet should be located near the silo vertical centerline.
