4.3 Blasting Condition
4.3.1 The blast volume per ton hot metal shall be defined by calculations of mass and thermal balances for blast furnace under different operation conditions. That should be consistent with the requirements stated in Table 4.3.1 when the blast furnace is blasted without oxygen enrichment.
Table 4.3.1 Blast Volume(without Oxygen Enrichment)per ton Hot Metal
Notes:1 The blast volume as consumed in the above table is designed for standard state.
2 The blast volume shown in the above table includes loss of air leakage.
4.3.2 The blast volume of blast furnace shall be defined by the blast volume per ton hot metal and output. The hearth diameter and blast furnace volume shall be checked and ratified by the calculated bosh gas index. The maximal blast volume and oxygen enrichment shall be determined by the bosh maximal gas quantity.Among others, the maximal blast volume shall be calculated by the bosh gas quantity from the blasting of blower. The bosh gas index may refer to the values shown in Table 4.2.1.
4.3.3 The blast furnace shall be operated in the condition of high pressure. The blast furnace top pressure should be consistent with the requirements stated in Table 4.3.3.

Note:The pressure values in the above table are measured by gauge.
4.3.4 The outlet pressure of blast furnace's blower shall meet the combined requirements of top pressure, charge resistance loss and blast resistance loss, which should be consistent with the requirements stated in Table 4.3.4.
