Foreword

According to the requirements of Jian Biao Han［2006］No.136 issued by former Ministry of Construction"Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2006（second batch）"，this code is hereby established by China First Metallurgical Group Co.，Ltd.jointly with related companies.

During establishment of the code，the preparation group has made extensive and in-depth investigation；concluded many years'experience in the installation of steel-making mechanical equipment engineering；widely sought the advice and suggestions from related companies and experts；repeatedly discussed，revised and enhanced the provisions of the code and finalized this text upon review.

The code consists of nineteen chapters with the main contents as follows:General provisions，basic requirements，equipment foundation，foundation bolt and base plate，equipment and material mobilization，converter installation，installation of oxygen lance and sublance，installation of hood，installation of waste heat boiler，installation of electric arc furnace，installation of ladle refining furnace，installation of vacuum ladle refining furnace and vacuum oxygen decarburization converter，installation of recirculation vacuum degassing refining furnace，installation of casting equipment，installation of continuous steel-casting equipment，installation of discharging and finishing equipment，installation of hot metal mixer，installation of hot metal pretreatment equipment，test run of mechanical steel-making，safety and environmental protection，etc.
