2 Basic Requirements
2.1 General Requirements
2.1.1 There shall be corresponding construction technical standard,complete quality management system,quality inspection system and comprehensive quality assessment system for the construction for the electrical equipment installation engineering in metallurgy.The inspection may be documented according to the requirements specified in Table A.0.1 in Appendix A of this code.
1 The installation electrician,welder,and personnel in charge of hoisting and electrical commissioning personnel shall work with the certificate required.
2 All the measuring instruments for installation and commissioning shall be checked for validity,and within the period of validity at time of operation.
2.1.2 The construction for the electrical equipment installation engineering in metallurgy shall be organized in accordance with the construction organization design and construction plan.Moreover,a construction technology program shall be prepared for complicated and important installation and test operation.The technical details shall be disclosed to the constructors before construction.
2.1.3 Low-voltage electrical equipment,apparatus and material are defined as with AC rated voltage of 1kV and below,or DC rated voltage of 1.5kV and below.The high-voltage electrical equipment,apparatus and material are defined as with AC rated voltage more than 1kV or DC rated voltage higher than 1.5kV.
2.1.4 The measuring instrument used for electrical equipment and the instrument related to electrical protection shall be checked for validity,and be within the period of validity at time of trial operation.
2.1.5 Commissioning test for electrical equipment in metallurgy must meet the requirements of the current national standard GB 50150 Standard for Commissioning test of Electrical Equipment under Electrical Equipment Installation Engineering.
2.1.6 The equipment and materials used for the engineering shall meet the requirements of the current national standards and have a Quality Certificate.The equipment shall have a nameplate attached.The new equipment and materials for which there are not standards available shall have certification documents for entering the market in accordance with legal procedures.The imported equipment and materials shall meet the requirements of contract.
2.1.7 The construction of electrical equipment installation engineering in metallurgy shall meet not only the requirements of design documents and this code but also the requirements of relevant installation and operation instructions.The modification to the design must be confirmed by the original designer in writing.
2.1.8 The laying of electrical lines and the installation of electrical equipment in explosive gas atmospheres are only applicable to the electrical installation engineering where there is or may be gas,steam,dust,fiber explosive mixture and fire hazardous materials during the process of production,processing,handling,transportation or storage in the metallurgical factory.
2.1.9 The installation of electrical equipment at the fire hazardous area is only applicable to the electrical installation engineering where there is or may be fire hazardous materials during the process of production,processing,handling,transportation or storage in the metallurgical factory.
