16　Installation of Cable Bearer and Tray

16.1　Dominant Items

16.1.1　The metal cable tray and bearer and the metal cable duct for leading in and out cable must be connected to earth（PE）or neutral（PEN）in accordance with the following requirements:

1　Metal cable tray and bearer shall have 2 points connected to PE or PEN main line.

2　The ends of connecting plate between non-galvanized metal cable trays shall be bridged to cooper-core ground wire，of which the minimum cross-section area shall be 4mm2.

3　The ends of connecting plate between galvanized cable trays shall not be bridged to ground wire but shall be provided with at least 2 fixing bolts with lock nuts or lock washers.
