3.2 General Items
3.2.1 Installation of GIS shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The inside of cylinder must be kept clean.The surface of current carrying conductors shall be smooth and free of any rust and corrosion,the insulating partition shall be in good condition and the torsion moment of fastening bolts shall meet the manufacturer's requirements.
2 In cases in which disassembly is required for the inspection,the arc chute shall be protected from any dust and moisture during the inspection and there shall be no gas leakage in the gas-filled compartments.The vacuum degree and gas pressure in the cylinder of each unit shall be in accordance with the technical product specification.The replacement of moisture absorbent shall meet the manufacturer's requirements.
3 During assembly of each unit,the plug-in contacts must be correctly aligned and the insertion depth and contact pressure shall meet the requirements of the manufacture.
4 The opening and closing operations of operating mechanism and indication thereof,action and interlocking of diverter switch and pressure indication must be all correct and reliable.
5 The inside of gas-filled tubes must be kept free of rust,moisture,oil pollution and debris.The flanges shall be connected tightly and without any leakage,and the sealing materials must meet the technical product specification.
6 The equipment shall be arranged neatly,the lines shall be routed reasonably,and the paint on the surface of equipment shall have uniform color.
7 The body of GIS shall not be disassembled without permission during installation,and the highstrength porcelain insulators shall be in good condition without damage.The allowable deviation for GID installation shall meet the requirements as specified in Table 3.2.1.

3.2.2 The installation of 3-500kV ACB shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The inspection after disassembling of ACB shall be performed according to the requirements of the manufacture.The insulation tension pole shall be clean,free of any damage and well insulated,and the connection elements at both ends shall be reliably secure,in addition,its bending shall not exceed the technical product specification.The position of nozzle notch relative to the contact terminal must be correct,and the spring of extinguishing contact finger shall be in good condition.
2 The base shall be securely installed and the deviation of phase spacing for three-phase base shall not be greater than 5mm.The flange face of support porcelain insulators for three-phase ganged circuit breaker shall in the same plane.The deviation of center distance and height of the base shall not exceed 10mm.The deviation of reserved holes or centerline of embedded iron plate shall not exceed 10mm,and the deviation of centerline of embedded bolts shall not exceed 2mm.
3 All adjustment parameters of ACB shall meet the product specification.The valve system shall work well and the drive mechanism and the buffer shall operate smoothly without jam and violent vibration.The drive parts shall be connected securely,and the grease suitable for the local climate shall be applied to the shaft.
4 The flexible conductors used for connecting the terminals outside the arc chute shall be free of broken strands and shall be reliably grounded.
5 The rubber seal ring used for connecting the porcelain insulator flanges shall not deformed,cracked or map-cracked due to aging,and its compressibility shall comply with the technical product specification.
6 The performance of opening,closing and auto-reclosing shall be in accordance with the technical product specification and the auxiliary switch contact shall operate properly and have good contact.
3.2.3 The assembly of OCB shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The allowable deviation of OCB installation foundation shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.2.3.OCB shall be installed vertically or horizontally,and fixed securely.The spacer between the base or support and the foundation shall be securely welded,with the overall thickness not greater than 10mm.

2 The working cylinder or directional triangle bracket and positioning rod shall be securely fixed bearing even load.
3 The arc chute of OCB shall be disassembled for inspection and shall be re-assembled correctly after the inspection.
4 The centers of contacts shall be correctly aligned,and the opening and closing operation shall be smooth without sticking.The contacts of same phase shall have even spring pressure and contact tightly when closing.The surface of contacts shall be clean without crack,loose weld or loosening.
5 The braided copper wire or flexible copper strip of the current-carrying parts shall not be broken.The fixing bolts shall be complete and securely fastened.The buffers shall be securely fixed and operate smoothly without sticking and bounding back.The specification of oil filled into the oil bumper and oil level shall conform to the technical product specification.The oil pointer can indicate the oil level correctly.The oil-gas separator and the exhaust pipe shall be correctly installed,securely fixed,and well grounded.
3.2.4 The installation of handcart-type minimum oil circuit breaker shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The handcart shall be able to be pushed in and pulled out easily and smoothly,its braking device shall be reliable and can be easily operated manually and its working and test positions shall be located accurately.Its electrical and mechanical interlocking device shall operate properly and reliably.
2 During installation and commissioning of OCB,check the clearance between the gauge and intermediate shaft of drive mechanism with a gauge at the time of power-driven closing operation;check the clearance between the lever of drive mechanism and stop pin after closing;synchronism of travel,overtravel,interphase(between breaks)contact shall be in accordance with the technical product specification.
3 The joint action of OCB and the operating mechanism shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)Before high-speed opening and closing,there must be low-speed opening and closing operation.
2)The low-speed opening and closing shall be slow and steady without sticking and holding back.
3)The circuit breaker shall be filled with oil in accordance with technical product specification prior to high-speed opening and closing operation.
3.2.5 The installation of vacuum circuit breaker shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The circuit breaker shall be installed vertically,and fixed securely.The interphase supporting porcelain insulators shall be in the same plane.
2 The elbows of 3-phase ganged rods shall be on the same horizontal plane with the same angle.Before power-driven opening and closing operation,slow manual opening and closing operation shall be done to prove there is no abnormality.
3 The flexible copper pieces of current-carrying parts shall not be broken and there shall not be any rust between them.The fixing bolts shall be all complete and securely fastened.
4 The conductive rod shall have a clean surface and contact closely with contact with the conductive clip.The contact resistance of the conductive circuit shall be in accordance with the technical product specification.
5 The linkage with the operating mechanism shall be normal without sticking and the indication of opening and closing shall be correct.The on-off action of auxiliary switches shall be accurate and reliable and the contacts shall be free of arc erosion.
3.2.6 The installation of disconnecting switch,load switch and high-voltage fuse shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 The assembly of disconnecting switch shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)When the disconnecting switch is at closing position,remaining stroke and in Opening state,the clearance or open angle between the contacts shall be in accordance with the technical product specification.The deviation of phase spacing shall not be greater than 10mm for 110kV and under and 20mm for over 110kV.
2)The contacts shall contact closely and the contact pressure on both sides shall be even.If there is grounding pole,the blocking device between the pole and main contact shall operate quickly,accurately and reliably.
3)The stand-off insulator shall be perpendicular to the base plane(except V-type disconnecting switch)and securely connected.The centerlines of all the insulator poles in phase shall be in the same vertical plane,and all stand-off insulators shall be securely connected with each other.
2 The installation of transmission gear and the operating mechanism shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)The tension pole shall be straightened;all drive shafts and elbows shall be installed in the right positions.The distance between current-carrying parts and asynchronism of contact connection shall be in accordance with the technical product specification.
2)The tension pole shall be equipped with a protective ring to prevent the accident that may be caused by damage or break of tension pole.
3)The asynchronism of contact connection for 3-phase ganged disconnecting switch shall be in accordance with the technical product specification and shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.2.6 where there are no such specifications.

3 The installation and adjustment of load switch shall meet not only the requirements related to the foresaid disconnecting switch but also the following requirements:
1)For load switch,the synchronism of 3-phase contact connection and the clearance and open angle between the contacts when the switch is in opening state shall meet the technical product specification.
2)The organic insulating material in the arc extinguishing cylinder shall be in good condition without cracks and the clearance between the arc-extinguishing contact and the arc extinguishing cylinder shall meet relevant requirements.
3)The exposed part of oil load switch and the inside of oil tank shall be cleaned up,and the oil tank shall be filled with qualified oil without leakage.
4 The installation of high-voltage fuse shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1)For the fuse with jaw,its fusion tube shall be tightly inserted plugged into the jaw.The fuse with operation indicator shall be so installed that the operation of indicator can be easily checked.
2)The drop-out fuse shall be free of crack and deformation.The angle between the axial line and the plumb line of fusion tube shall be 15°-30°,its rotating part shall be able to rotate smoothly.The specification of fuse wire shall be in accordance with design requirements,and the melt and tail shall be securely pressed together.
