1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is formulated with a view to promote technical progress and innovation，increase design qualities and ensure safe production and reasonable development and utilization of resources.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to mining design of construction，extension and renovation project of metal mine.

1.0.3　The laws and regulations on safety production，occupational health and environmental protection shall be implemented in mine design.The engineering design of safety facilities，environmental protection，conservation of water and soil and land rehabilitation shall be conducted simultaneously with the main part of the project.

1.0.4　Not only the requirements stipulated in this code，but also those in the current relevant regulations，standards and compulsory provisions of engineering construction standards of the nation shall be complied with during mine design.
