2 Basic Requirement

2.0.1 An erection company of sintering mechanical equipment shall hold corresponding qualification certificate;shall establish corresponding technical standards,and Quality Management System covering quality control and quality inspection on site;shall have technical documents approved by technical chief such as construction organization design,construction proposal and operation design.

2.0.2 A technical verification visa or a design variation notice from design institute must be available for drawing modification.

2.0.3 Measuring instruments to be used for quality check and acceptance of engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment must be proved qualified by metrological verification and calibration.

2.0.4 The welder who engages in welding operation for engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment may engage in welding operation commensurate to the scope of his qualification items of examination only when he passes qualification examination and obtains a qualified license.

2.0.5 Engineering installation for sintering mechanical equipment shall be proceeded according to specified sequences,and handing over inspection and record among related trades shall be finished;quality control for different sequences in a trade shall be conducted according to construction technical standards,checking and keeping record for each sequence when it is finished.Next sequence shall not proceed if previous sequence is not inspected and accepted.

2.0.6 Acceptance for secondary grouting and other concealed works in engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment shall be conducted by relevant companies before they are concealed,and shall be documented.The relevant companies are notified by the construction company that work is ready for inspection.

2.0.7 Quality acceptance for engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment on basis of selfcheck by the construction company shall be conducted in a sequence of sub-divisional project,divisional project and unit project.Division for sub-divisional project and divisional project should refer to stipulations in Table 2.0.7 Division of unit project may be defined based on its process system,and defined unit projects as follows:raw material and mixture equipment engineering installation,engineering installation of sintering master mechanical equipment,engineering installation of cooler mechanical equipment,engineering installation of main exhausting mechanical equipment,engineering installation of dedusting mechanical equipment.

2.0.8 Quality acceptance for sub-divisional project shall meet the following requirements:

1 Inspection for dominant items must meet quality requirements in this code;

2 Inspection for general items,all of them shall meet requirements in this code;for process structure,over 80% examined items shall meet the requirements,and the measured max.Value shall not exceed 1.2 time of its allowed deviation value;

3 Both quality acceptance record and quality qualified document shall be complete.

2.0.9 Quality acceptance for partial project shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1 Quality for all itemized projects of partial project shall be examined qualified,and accepted;

2 Quality control record shall be complete;

3 Trial running of individual equipment without load shall be qualified.

2.0.10 Quality acceptance for unit project shall meet the following requirements:

1 Quality for all partial projects of unit project shall be examined qualified and accepted;

2 Quality control documents shall be complete;

3 Trial running without load for individual equipment shall be qualified;

4 Quality acceptance by visual inspection shall be qualified.

2.0.11 Quality inspection items of unit project by visual inspection shall meet the following requirements:

1 Connecting bolt:bolt,nut and washer shall be provided and matched according to design;bolt shall be exposed or at same level of nut after tightening;exposed threading of bolt shall be free of damage;tightening direction of all bolts shall be same except of structure factor;

2 Sealing status:no obvious oil leakage,water leakage,gas leakage;

3 Pipeline-laying:reasonable arrangement,neat look;

4 Laying insulation material for sound and heat:even thickness,fastening firmly,and smooth surface;

5 Paint coating:even coat,free of missing spots,free of flakes,no obvious air bulb and wrinkle,basic consistent color and luster;

6 Walk platform,stairs and handrail:to be fixed firmly,no obvious defects on appearance;

7 Welding seam:even weld ripple,weld slag and splash to be cleared away;

8 Cut:cut free of slag;

9 Protection for finished product:no missing parts or damage of equipment,exposed machining surface are well protected;

10 Civilization construction:construction site arranged and managed in order,area around equipment free of construction debris.

Above mentioned items to be conducted spot check minimum 10 spots.

2.0.12 Quality acceptance record for engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment shall meet the following requirements:

1 Quality acceptance record for itemized projects shall proceed according to Appendix A in this code;

2 Quality acceptance record for partial projects shall proceed according to Appendix B in this code;

3 Quality acceptance record for unit projects shall proceed according to Appendix C in this code;

4 Record of equipment non-load run test shall proceed according to Appendix D in this code.

2.0.13 Projects which are unqualified must be treated or reworked.Acceptance for the project proceeds again.

2.0.14 The project must not be accepted which fails to meet safety usage requirements even after treatment and reworking due to its unqualified quality.

2.0.15 Quality acceptance for engineering installation of sintering mechanical equipment shall be organized and proceed according to the following procedures.

1 Quality acceptance for sub-divisional projects shall proceed together by a supervising engineer(technical chief from Owner),trade technical chief(foreman)of Construction Company and qualitychecking man of Construction Company;

2 Quality acceptance for unit projects shall proceed together by a chief supervising engineer(project chief from Owner)and three chiefs(in charge of project,technical and quality respectively)from Construction Company;

3 Construction Company shall organize relevant personnel to carry out check after a unit project is completed,and shall submit the project acceptance report to Owner;

4 After the owner has received the acceptance report,its project chief shall organize chiefs from construction company(including subcontractor),from design institute,from supervising company etc to proceed quality acceptance for a unit project;

5 General contractor shall take full responsibility of project quality if part of unit project is subcontracted;the subcontractor shall carry out quality check for the subcontracted project according to procedures stipulated in this code,with personnel from general contractor participating in the check.The subcontractor shall hand over documentation relevant the project to the general contractor after the subcontracted project is completed.
