5.4 Main Driving Device of Rolling Mill
5.4.1 Integral installation of the reducer or gear seat shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Take the mill train centerline as a reference to measure the longitudinal centerline for input or output shaft of reducer or gear seat.Measure the horizontal centerline at shaft end face.
2 Take the elevation benchmark or the plane elevation of rolling mill base plate as reference to measure the elevation of reducer or sectional elevation for gear seat and gearbox.
3 Measure the box subdivision section levelness of reducer or gear seat.
5.4.2 Decomposing installed reducer or gear seat shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Take rolling mill train centerline as a reference,measure the longitudinal centerline of bearing chock of input shaft or output shaft for reducer or gear seat.Measure the horizontal centerline of bearing chock stop face.
2 Elevation measure shall meet the requirements of item 2 of article 5.4.1 in this code.
3 Levelness measure shall meet the requirements of item 3 of article 5.4.1 in this code.
4 Sliding bearing and rolling bearing assembling and drive gear engagement assembling shall meet the requirements of technical design documents and current national standard,i.e.,"General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering"(GB 50231).
5 The supervision engineer shall conduct the checking before main reducer or gear seat box were closed,and shall inspect and accept the relevant concealed works.
6 The contact sealing between box sections shall be closed tightly and only allow to partial clearance not larger than 0.05mm when inspecting with feeler gauge.
5.4.3 Allowable deviation for rolling mill main reducer and gear seat installation shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 5.4.3.

5.4.4 Main drive motor installation for rolling mill shall have two kinds of circumstances,and shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 For the motor driven through intermediate shaft connecting with reducer,take the coupling at reducer input side as a reference,make use of the false intermediate shaft to measure and adjust the radial deviation and incline of two axes of the half-couplings at main motor side and reducer side,which shall meet the requirements of technical design documents and current national standard,i.e.,"General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering"(GB 50231).
2 For motor that rollers directly driven by the intermediate shaft,take the rolling centerline and main drive centerline for rolling mill as reference to adjust the longitudinal and horizontal centerlines of main drive motor;take the height for rolling line as a reference to adjust the center elevation for rotor of main drive motor.
3 The integrated installed drive motor levelness shall take rotor journal as reference for measurement surface,while split-type installed drive motor shall take the subdivision section of two bearing chocks of rotor as levelness measuring surface and recheck shall be conducted at rotor journal after assembly.
5.4.5 Allowable deviation for main driving motor installation of rolling mill shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 5.4.5.
