避免让西方人厌烦的小常识

1.不要称呼黑人为“Negro”

“Negro”是英语“黑人”的意思，原指从非洲被贩卖到美国为奴的黑人。所以在西方千万不要把黑人称为“Negro”，跟白人交谈如此，跟黑人交谈更需如此。否则，黑人会认为你蔑视他。说到黑人，最好用“black”一词，黑人对这个称呼会坦然接受。

2.不要过分谦虚

跟西方人交往时，应该大胆说出自己的能力，有一是一。不必谦虚客气，否则反而事与愿违。

3.莫在别人面前脱鞋

在西方，若是在别人面前脱鞋或赤脚，会被视为不知礼节的野蛮人。只有在卧室里，或是热恋的男女之间，才能脱下鞋子。

4.不可在别人面前伸舌头

西方人认为在别人面前伸舌头是一件既不雅观又不礼貌的行为，给人以庸俗、下流的感觉，甚至可以解释为瞧不起人。

5.不为别人付账

中国人的习惯是，几个好友一道出门时，总是抢着付钱买车票、门票等。但如果对西方人这样做，却不会得到他们的感激。这种做法会使他们觉得欠了人情债，心理上很难受。他们一起外出，总是各付各的费用，车费、饭费、小费无不如此。
