北欧属于高纬度地区，冬季漫长且缺少阳光的照射，所以北欧人在室内空间设计上，最大限度地将阳光引进室内。正因为如此北欧的窗子规格较大，房间敞亮；色调往往以白色、米色、浅木色为主，而墙面的颜色，更是往往以纯净的白色为主；室内空间的格局设计没有过多的转折或拐角，这种空间结构简洁，大窗户的设计更有利于将阳光引入室内，白色的墙面则更有利于光线的反射，使房间显得更加宽敞明亮。

Northern Europe is a high latitude area. Winter is long and lack of sunlight, so Northern Europeans apply the design that willg reatly introduce the sunlight indoor. Thus, they have large size windows and the room is full of daylight. The colors are mainly based on white, beige and lightwood color, and the color of walls is usually in pure white color. There are no much corners or turns in the space structure, as it is more concise. The design of big windows is convenient to introduce the sunlight indoors, and white color of walls is propitious to the reflection of light, thus can make the room significantly transparent.
