（六）介词选择错误

1．动词误作介词

错句1

She crawled cross the floor, her eyes stinging from the smoke.

She crawled across the floor, her eyes stinging from the smoke.

她从地板上爬过去，眼睛被烟熏得直痛。

解析 across和cross均可表示“横过，穿过”，但词性不同。across是介词，cross是动词，试比较：to cross the street(横穿马路), to walk across the street(走过马路); to cross a river(过河，渡河), to swim across a river(游过河)。

2．连词误作介词

错句2

When two o'clock, a sudden noise made me start.

两点钟的时候，一个突如其来的声音吓了我一跳。

错句3
