第5章 Abstract

This book takes "socialism in exploring and endeavoring" as the theme, and attempt to discuss deeply the unity of theory and practice, universality and individuality, system and culture, inheritance and innovation, regularity and purposiveness, progress and setbacks, the leader's outstanding contribution and different forces' joint efforts, having a foothold at present and prospecting the future, as well as China and the world, etc., which are implied in the process of socialist development, from the three aspects of "socialist theory front and the world socialist movement", "socialism with Chinese characteristics" and“so-cialism and the party".

This book emphasizes that the diversity of schools of socialism is one per-formance of the diversity of human civilization in the field of ideology, scientific socialism, as the Communists' banner, is the unification of value, essence and system, and it should do well in absorbing the achievements of other schools of socialism including democratic socialism; Socialism with Chinese characteristics, as the scientific socialism rooting in the contemporary China, which enriched and developed the socialist theory of Marxist classical authors, is of great signifi-cance not only to the development of contemporary China, but also to the na-tional rejuvenation of those countries backward in economy and culture, as well as the progress of the whole world; The Communist Parties, as the leading nu-cleus of scientific socialism, is the key factor that affects the course and effective-ness of socialist revolution, construction and reform. Therefore, only if we pay high attention to the party building and the perfection of the the multi-party co-operation system, can we provide the strong organizational guarantee for the governance of the state.

This book attaches importance to apply strategic thinking, world foresight, comparative method and "after thinking" to observe and research the problems.It tries to look forward to the future by contacting history and protrude China by connecting the world.
