Abstract

In the context of globalization, the tension between nationality and globalisation of culture continues. Faced with the inevitable tide of history, how to establish national culture in the forests of the world culture, how to examine and summarize the ongoing controversy of ancient and modern Chinese and Western cultures, how to establish the direction of cultural development, has become a contemporary issue that we have to deal with. Important prerequisite to solve this issue is the conscious of cultural values.

Cultural values is the subject' s value awareness of specific culture judgement of the tendencies, and modes and spirits of such specific culture. This value orientation and evaluation, with understanding of the subject' s differences, as well as the different circumstances, are always showing different discourse, stance, ideas and thoughts.

From the internal mechanism of culture values, the conflicts, valuation, recognition and creation are the key to understand and grasp the cultural values. In the era of globalization, the heterogeneity cultural communication and collision, will inevitably lead to a conflict of cultural values. Conflict of cultural values, the value evaluation and recognition, has a profound impact on the core elements of the people's cultural values. Reflection of cultural values and consciousness, must be on the creation of cultural values ultimately.

Cultural value conflict is the basis of formation of the reality of cultural values.
