Annotation of Chinese Psychological Symptoms:Multi-constraint Characteristic Hypothesis
Abstract: To explore and annotate Chinese psychological symptoms, three different samples（1890 adults were tested by SCL-90,951 adults and 2654 undergraduates were tested by PDRS）were analyzed by Exploratory Factor Analysis（EFA）. Comparing with the overseas studies, the EFA outcomes of Chinese samples presented a stable state. Interpersonal relationship problem, body symptom, suicidal risk and internet addiction made the primary contribution. The reason why these four symptoms became the most important factors was discussed and interpreted. Chinese and oriental pyramid culture hypothesis was further proposed too. According to this hypothesis, Chinese and oriental culture was multiconstraint and ultra - steady - state, which was significantly different from the western spheroid culture. Multi-constraint characteristic hypothesis could be appropriately explained the cultural significance of Chinese psychological symptoms.
