Abstract

The entry point of this book is the problem of polarization. The author made an intensive study of Samir Amin. In this study, he analyzed Amin's thought of World System, European and American capitalist system, Globalization, liberalism, and Europe-centralism, revealing that the expansion of European and American capitalist system is the total origin of polarization and the long-term development-dilemma of the third world. Polarization is the inherent essence and developing rules of European and American capitalist system. Capitalist world system's dual structure of center and edge is an inequality structure, it presents as unequal situation between developed country and developing country, rich country and poor country. The polarization dilemma of the world today is, on one hand, the result of the globalization of the development of European-American capitalist, on the other hand, also the external form of its inherent essence and developing rules. The globalization movement, which leaded by European and American developed countries is the operation mode of the world's polarization. And the liberalism, which based on the thought of Europe-centralism, is the ideology theory about the world's polarization dilemma. We should keep using the method of historical materialism towards the world's polarization and its inner -relationship between caplitalism, globalization, liberalism and Europe -centralism. We should reveal the error and the hazard of liberalism and Europe -centralism, and carefully summarize the successful experience of socialism development with chinese characteristics, at the same time change the European and American capitalist system. In this way, we can eliminate polarization structure, solve the dilemma of the world's polarization, develop-dilemma of unequal exchange and the total origin of long-term under development of people in the third world countries. So that we can support people in the third world countries develop modernization equally and independently, to realize equal development, harmonious development, open development and shareable development of the world.
