Status, Trend and Countermeasure in Development of Sea Cucumber Apostichopus Japonicus Selenka Industry in China

Abstract:Sea cucumber industry that developed rapidly in recent years had become the pillar of coastal fishery economic in our country, especially in north china, which led to the 5th climax of marine aquaculture. This paper analyzed the main bottlenecks of constraining the sustained and healthy development of the sea cucumber industry by combing the important symbolic events, industrial production and market situation. According to the national policy and social development needs, the future development trend of the industry was systematically analyzed and judged from the following three points, the industrial supply changes, changes in demand and the impact of imported sea cucumber. Technological innovation measures and countermeasures were put forward based on the new normal to speed up the adjustment of industrial structure, promote industrial transformation and upgrading and raise the quality and efficiency. This paper may provide theoretical basis and technical support for decision-making of relevant authorities and protection of sustainable development of sea cucumber industry.
