On the Core Conception of HRM: The Capacity
Abstract: Capactiy means a person's state or efficiency in using his physical power and intelligence to achieve his goal. Capicity must build on a certain physical and intellectual basis, that is based on a certain quality. But the capicity is associated with the movement(human activity), and it is a process of existence. A person's capicity can be divided into three levels: physical potential, social potential and competency or practical ability. The basic elements of capacity are: IQ, personality, knowledge, experience and social environment. The study of capacity should not be confined to behaviorism and utilitarianism, which belong to traditional way of thinking, but Ontology, that is, what is the way of thinking, should be studied. Only by truly understanding what capicity is, can we develop, motivate and guide capicity to effectively optimize the human resource management, so as to achieve organizational goals.
