Abstract

Human sustainable development is the eternal proposition of world development; green development is the core content and key factors. With the advancement of green development, as an important place of human life, city became a main basement in green development achievement. In the development process of green city, green sports gradually concerned by people. How to convert green sport concept to practice, this is the key issue which need to consider at the primary stage. Therefore, on the national scale, government is becoming a center of people attentions in green sports development. Thus how to improve the role of government in the city green development, how to maintain and develop public sports rights, how to cultivate green values and how to enhance the urban green level will become an important project：

This paper's main lines are green sport nature and the role of government in green sports development, embrace the real situation of urban green sports development to state. Specifically, this paper attempt to solve four main problems:Firstly, states and defines the concept, connotation and theoretical basis of green sport. Secondly, describe and analysis the present situation and function of government role at domestic and overseas. Thirdly, the regime tool of government role implementation in Chinese urban green sports. Finally, in the new period, put forward the ideas and polity suggestions to Chinese city urban sports sustainable development. The paper revolves the relevant issues are divided into six sessions below：

And then defines the connotation, essential feature and theoretical foundation from the background of human life limitation, global green movement influence and modern sports essence knowledge as well as from the differences and connections of ecological sports, low carbon and green sports.

It introduces the reality of the international green sports development and green development policy system. Explore the function of government role in different countries green sports development. The study consider that countries according to their own national conditions to develop green sports is the main standpoint of the government role positioning, maintenance and development of citizen sports rights are the fundamental principles. full attention on this basis, the government own mechanism construction, effective play a fundamental role market, actively cultivate the public awareness of green, build the green sports development of government, market and public policy system.
