Warm climate makes areas south of the Yangtze River very suitable for tea planting. Among these areas, Fuliang and Shezhou are the most well-known. Huizhou tea has a long history. Since the Ming Dynasty, sunglo, keemun and twankay have all established an international reputation. Nowadays, Huangshan maofeng, Taiping houkui and keemun black tea have also found their places in the top 10 list of the most famous Chinese tea, and the latter even won the International Gold Award twice. Besides, Huizhou tea dealers have made brilliant achievements. Time-honored Huizhou shops such as ‘Wuyutai' and ‘Zhangyiyuan' have already had an outstanding reputation in Beijing and are widely praised allover the country.
