第4章 Abstract

This research takes the tropical sports tourism as the object of study，applying the methods of the literature search，the experts inter-view，the questionnaire，the statistical analysis、GIS and on -site in-spections.It has confirmed the following research results initially：

（1）By the application of sustainable development concept，the basic theory of tropical sports tourism development is discussed.Tropi-cal sports tourism system exist tourist flow and flow coupling rule.Tropical sports tourism should choose characteristic ecological harmoni-ous development mode.

（2）The study preliminary demonstrates that the motivation of trop-ical sports tourism is to pursuit fresh and strange things，to challenge oneself，to improve one’s health and so on.Tropical sports tourism market exists the space and time distribution，sports events attract， sightseeing place distance attenuation law，etc

（3）The study by the application of geographic information system （GIS）to draw up the sports tourist resources multi-level arrow quanti-fication electronic map and the functional diagram.It proposed the tropical sports tourism products development strategy；Puts forward the tropical sports tourism market forecasting methods，and take the main topical field as an example to prediction the sports tourism income and visits.

（4）In a certain extent，the government，industry association，de-velopers，enterprise influenced the development of tropical sports tourism，therefore in the process of sports tourism development should be coordinated various aspects relations and balanced economic，social and environmental benefits.

（5）Any theory research needs the test of practice.The empirical research and case studies of tropical sports tourism，providing the refer-ence for the development project，the decision-making and the imple-mentation of the tropical sports tourism.
